Land Rover’s Range Rover line has been incredibly successful, but with that success has come a problem: fuel economy. To improve the brand’s MPGs and to add a little green-cred to the original “Chelsea Tractor,” Land Rover is launching a bevy of new engine designs from mild hybrids to full hybrids and this all-new plug-in hybrid capable of motoring your Ranger rover for over 30 miles on electrons (as long as you treat is gently) and getting a few MPGs better than the V6 model after that. Is that enough? I’ll let you decide.
