Introducing the Acura Integra Type S

Acura has fully revealed the 2024 Integra Type S! Acura borrowed some designs from the Civic Type R, like the triple exhausts, aggressive fascias, hood scoop, and large Brembo four-piston monobloc calipers. One key omission: no rear wing, which makes sense given the Integra’s positioning as an Audi S3 competitor.

Under the hood, we see a 2.0L K20C1 turbo engine from the Type R mated to a 6-speed manual. Nope, no SH-AWD, but there is a limited slip differential up front. Power comes in at 320 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque sent to the ground via 19″ wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/30/R19 tires. Brembo four-piston calipers handle braking on the front while flared fenders handle acommodating those 265 width tires.

Inside, changes are less noticeable. It will only come equipped one way: fully loaded. This includes the Integra’s original 9″ infotainment LCD with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 10.2″ digital instrument cluster, head-up display, 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system, wireless phone charger, and heated seats. The seats appear more aggressively-bolstered.
Acura snagged the Type R’s adaptive dampers as well, but likely with different tuning for the same Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ modes. There’s a thicker front stabilizer bar and other tweaks here and there.

Pricing has not been announced yet, but you can hope to see these in person starting in June if production goes to plan. Expect pricing to be in line with the Audi, BMW and Mercedes competition, perhaps a hair less as AWD isn’t an option.
