The Kia K5 GT is the mechanically related cousin of the Hyundai Sonata N Line. Unlike the Sonata, you get a lot more creature comforts in the Kia but you lose out on certain tech features. You still get a lot of suspension tweaks and the 290-hp 2.5-liter turbo-four paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. What you don’t get are the optional summer tires offered in the Hyundai. Does that make the Kia a little less appealing or will this burnout-loving midsize sedan win you over with its raucous attitude?
