Ford is cooking up a new take on the manual transmission.

There is a large community of car people who will die on the manual transmission hill, claiming there is no substitute for rowing your own gears and being one with the car. Unfortunately for them, the manual transmission’s days are seriously numbered. There are heroines out there, however, who want to keep the classic stick shift alive in some form. We already have automated manual transmissions, but Ford wants to take that technology a step further.

Nissan close to ending development of internal combustion engines.

2022 Nissan GT-RA few car companies from a nations all over the world have already come out and announced the termination of internal combustion engine development. Next in line to do so is Nissan, who claims that everywhere but the U.S., for now, will cease ICE development. Timeline and more info here.

Koenigsegg unveils plan for new plant in Sweden.

Koenigsegg new plantSwedish supercar company Koenigsegg unleashes plans for a massive new expansion to its main facility in the city of Aengelholm. An extension of the four airplane hangars that the original site comprised of, the new buildings will also be complimented by a test track. More details here.

DS E-Tense Performance conceptThanks to the merger that ended up creating Stellantis, brands like Chrysler and Dodge are now related to European marques like Citroen and Peugeot. DS, a spinoff of Citroen, released a concept car back in 2016 called the E-Tense, which was a hyper-styled, sporty coupe that looked pretty awesome. Fast forward to today, and an update to that concept adds an electric propulsion system and begs the question, will Dodge’s eMuscle benefit from its tech?
