Toyota Has a Fix! Maybe? | RAV4 Hybrid Filling Issues

We finally had a filling issue with our RAV4 Hybrid last week (at 12,000 miles) AND a letter from Toyota arrived hinting that a fix may be coming soon. The issue appears to be fuel level sending unit, not the tank itself, which means you’ve got a full tank. Toyota has officially confirmed the problem but the twist here is the fuel sending unit came off its calibration. However, the automaker hasn’t said how its repairing and if something will get fixed. It will notify owners when a fix is ready since this isn’t a full-on recall yet. We take a closer look at the letter and see how Toyota explains the issue.
