Other considerations aside, if you’re looking for the most practical small crossover, the Tiguan takes the cake. It’s one of the very few small 3-row vehicles in America and it has tons of second row room for child seats or adults. While the third row is small and really should be thought of as an “emergency seat”, it has one and you won’t find one in a RAV4 or CR-V. The Tiguan is also well priced and has excellent handling. The downside? It doesn’t feel as fresh ad the Toyota and fuel economy falls short of some folks’ expectations.
