BMW’s latest CUV is the result of a formula we’ve seen before: take a practical crossover (the X1) and re-work it to be heavier on style and lighter on practicality while simultaneously enlarging its price tag. This math is what brought us the X6 and X4, but unlike those crossovers which I’m not the biggest fan of, the X2 seems to have used the same basic formula to create a vehicle that I’d buy over it’s more pragmatic twin.
